Photography is a journey driven by a desire to broaden my perspective on the world of which I am a part. Through bodies and elements, I explore the resonances that reveal a subtle dimension of matter. My approach springs from an inner impulse and questions our place in the world, moving toward a freedom of being that emerges in harmony with the rhythms of life.

  • Nadia Abdelwahed is inspired by the movement of the sea and the interplay of the elements, in which the body invites itself as a place of resonance. It is itself water, fire, earth, air. A vision of the body in its universal, embodied dimension. Nadia Abdelwahed raises the question of a presence in the world where freedom is created through the rhythms of life.

French and Lebanese, she grew up in Kinshasa (DR Congo). Her origins have nurtured a sensory experience of nature and a quest for an identity that transcends histories and continents.

As an urban planner in Montpellier, she has collaborated on 20 years of projects in tune with the spirit of the place. Today, she explores personal expression through photography.
